I have been a commissioned, self taught portrait artist for the past seven years. My first portrait was conceived at the age of 12 – a simple 8” x 10” pencil sketch of my baby niece. After producing an oil portrait of my daughter, Catherine, in 2002, I received commissions from the women at my daughter’s daycare to produce oil paintings of their children and grandchildren. This blossomed into relationships with local galleries in my home area in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

After relocating to Los Angeles, California, I established my home studio in Diamond Bar, CA, and developed relationships with the Pomona Valley Art Association at the Soho Gallery in Pomona, CA, and the Diamond Bar Community Foundation and their Art Center and Exhibitions in Diamond Bar, CA.

After two years in Diamond Bar, CA, I relocated to Sacramento California and established a studio inside of the Sacramento Art Complex at 2110 K St (affiliated with the Smith Gallery) working with 30 other artisans in weekly Open Art Studios and the monthly Sacramento 2nd Saturday Art Walks. Recently, I’ve relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where I am pursuing my portrait career in the hacienda setting of Old Town Albuquerque. You can find me tenanted at The Easel Place in the Patio Market off of Plaza and San Felipe, across from the San Felipe Church.

I am pursuing my passion for artistic drawing in order to achieve the level of mastery that I desire. I continue to study the masters in the Portrait Art profession in order to attempt to achieve the beauty in portraiture that they have been able to acquire. My preferred media is colored, pencil, pastels and oils and I would be honored to provide you and your family with an heirloom portrait of you and your loved ones to cherish.
